Recovering in Grace

Support and Recovery groups exist to offer an opportunity for those with similar struggles, challenges and like suffering to deal with it in a safe environment, experiencing the love of Christ and the care of His community.

Recovering in Grace is for people looking for true recovery from life’s habits, hurts and hang-ups. Although (RIG)-Recovering in Grace meetings are similar to those of other (12) twelve step support and recovery programs (such as AA) a major difference is their focus on Jesus Christ as the Highest Power.

Another difference is that RIG-Recovering in Grace does not limit itself to one issue in order to participate. Those who attend simply have to have a desire to work through the steps of healing for any wounds, addiction(s), behaviors, or emotional struggles from life issues.

The purpose of Recovering in Grace is to take people from where they are and help them transform into people with hope, love for life, freedom, and a relationship with others and the real true Higher Power-Jesus Christ.

We are a faith-based, 12 Step Support & Recovery Program. We operate as a Christ-centered; Spirit-led and Outward-focused group that meets in fellowship to share our experience, strength and hope with one another with a desire to stop addictive, compulsive and co-dependent behavior.

We practice the suggested 12-Step Recovery Program of AA and Al-Anon, because we believe these to be the practical applications of the life changing principles – which are so clearly set forth in the Scriptures.

We use the “Serenity Companion Guide to 12 Step Programs” which contains the Holy Bible incorporated with the 12 steps for its tools of recovery.

Therefore admit your faults to one another and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
